The sun has set and the ocean breeze has chilled the guests, but the memories of Jen and Mike's wedding are still warm and fresh in our minds.

I had the amazing pleasure and honor of not only being a bridesmaid, but also stationer for Jen and Mike's New Jersey Beach Wedding. It's not often that I am so involved on both sides, but for Jen, I'd do anything.

Jen grew up spending entire summers on Long Beach Island, NJ, where her mom and aunt shared a beach house. Summers were spent barefoot and sun-kissed, with the love of her "beach family" surrounding her and her sister (the maid of honor). It was a no-brainer when Mike proposed, that the wedding would be "down the shore" to honor these special memories.

The couple decided on a navy blue and coral theme, with distressed whites, soft blues, and sandy tones thrown in to round out the aesthetic. Jen's lace gown had a slight scallop shell pattern to it, and Mike's suit was trimmed with a sheen and accented with a blue tie and pocket square. Tears welled, and tissues were passed as Jen was walked down the aisle by her father.

After the ceremony, guests were treated to a beautiful sunset and cool breeze by the bay, games of corn hole and walks on the beach. Springsteen sing-a-longs filled the air as guests kicked off their shoes to dance, and filled their stomachs with cupcakes and icecream bar treats. You could feel the love in the room as guests left with fun memories and gifts of salt water taffy.

It was such an amazing day for all those involved, and how many people can honestly say they wish the bridesmaids could get together again?! Well, I can!
