I had created the below inspiration board a while ago for fun, and I was just waiting on the perfect time to use it.
Enter, Jessica Lynn. I found Jessica through social media, and just loved her photos and aesthetic. I reached out to her on a whim, wondering if she would be interested in collaborating on a styled shoot, using this mood board as a starting point.
She. Said. Yes.
And she even had a wedding planner friend in mind that she has worked with before, so we all three started envisioning and it was a go!
They decided to add a Morrocan feel to the shoot as it would be on the beach at dusk, and the couple made it an elopement! The starfish and candle lined table was set directly on the beach with rugs and poufs scattered around for a family style meal. The Bride would be barefoot in her sheer lace gown that flowed beautifully with the ocean breeze. The groom (literally) let his hair down as he picked her up and twirled her around. Beachy. Moroccan. Moody. Vintage. Bohemian.

My inspiration was driven by the dark floral pattern in the inspiration board. Texture was the name of the game, and the rest of the suite came together so perfectly. A moody floral pattern mixed with a bohemian marbled envelope liner, a clean and elegant invitation design, and a grunge textured and Moroccan shaped set of RSVP cards.
Phew!
Can someone please get married and use THESE as their invitations? Just so I can see this wedding come to life one more time?

Nicole and Bryan came to me from somewhere out in the social media wonderland, and I'm so darn happy they did.
Nicole has so much energy and excitement, and they were both SO in love. Nicole knew that she wanted an invitation suite that would accent her designer gown and gorgeous chandelier-filled reception hall when sending it to their over 300 person guest list! She knew she wanted pinks and maybe some green, and wasn't a fan of too much cursive.
The sun has set and the ocean breeze has chilled the guests, but the memories of Jen and Mike's wedding are still warm and fresh in our minds.
I had the amazing pleasure and honor of not only being a bridesmaid, but also stationer for Jen and Mike's New Jersey Beach Wedding. It's not often that I am so involved on both sides, but for Jen, I'd do anything.
