Working in the wedding industry is a crazy, exciting, and very emotional thing. We get to be a part of the very best days in a couple's life, and it is an incredible experience to take part in. I've worked with and met many other members of the wedding industry, but the professionalism, enthusiasm, and passion that emits from Teresa from the very first email is what sets her apart from the rest.
Teresa Fernandez founded Simply Couture Weddings in 2009, and today is an award winning planner in the South Florida area who's main focus is detail, passion, and client dedication. She believes in creating unique events, individual and streamlined to each couple she works with, and loves to see the little details come to life according to plan. Her (and my) favorite part of any wedding is that first moment when a groom sees his bride. It's always a tear-jerker no matter how many weddings you have planned or attended!
When we first discussed the project, Teresa was pretty open to ideas, but knew that she wanted kelly green accents in an otherwise muted palette, loved white marble and gold, and clean, minimalist designs. She had a new calligraphy logo that was beautifully designed and ready for the project!
An upscale and refined aesthetic? With marble AND gold accents?! How did I get so lucky?!!
We designed black business cards that were printed with white foil and edge painted in gold. We created note cards with Kate Spade's iconic feel to them so she can address her clients at each stage of the process. Envelopes were lined with a marbled paper, client questionnaire sheets were printed with kelly green accents, and a black linen folder kept all the pieces together for one impressively beautiful client package. Phew!
This was definitely one of my favorite projects in 2016, and I can't wait for my next client to swoop in for all of these pretties!
