As I sat down to write this post, I was staring at my notebook that has the below quote, and thought about how perfect it is to start off this project.
Be bold. Be charming. Be sharp. Be generous. Be silly. Be amazing.
This perfectly sums up Alyssa, who is an early education and theater teacher, arts enthusiast, and pretty much the sweetest person you're ever going to meet. She has started a blog that will inspire and give resource to parents, teachers, and artists who want to add creativity to their lives through their kids. She wants to eventually have books, lesson plans, and activities for the "non-traditional" teachers who work in museums and theaters. Essentially striving to teach teachers, moms, nannies, etc., how to use art as learning tools, and to foster creativity in kiddos.
Pretty amazing, right?!
Since the logo is geared toward arts, and parents with kids in mind, we were free to be as colorful and whimsical as we pleased! This was such a fun project, and I couldn't be happier with how it came out.
As you can see...we went through A LOT of color revisions. Sometimes that's just what it takes when you have 2 artists working together (*insert cry/laughing emoji here*). But hey...when it's this pretty...right?!

I met Andrea through a mutual friend when we worked on a logo for Maple Tree Education together (you can see that post here), and since it went so well, Andrea hired me to complete another logo for her "side" business as well.
I highlighted "side" as I did because with all the good work she does through her center for couples in Hawaii, it deserves no less attention than her main career path does.

Have you ever had one of those friends that instantly upon meeting them, you feel like besties? Well when I met Alyssa, that's how it felt.
Alyssa had come to me for a logo for her personal blog (blog/teaching resource/creative nuggets of wisdom for the kiddos), and in the midst of designing that logo she brought another client to me through her professional contacts.
Enter: Maple Tree Early Childhood Education, and the school's director, Andrea.
Working in the wedding industry is a crazy, exciting, and very emotional thing. We get to be a part of the very best days in a couple's life, and it is an incredible experience to take part in. I've worked with and met many other members of the wedding industry, but the professionalism, enthusiasm, and passion that emits from Teresa from the very first email is what sets her apart from the rest.

If this name sounds familiar, it should! Just last week I posted about a styled shoot that I was a part of, with none other than...you guess it...Shannon (soon to be) Ensor! She is engaged and will take her husband's name once married, which also means she would need to change her business name so there's no confusion as to who she is. She decided to take this opportunity to not only change the name of her business, but to also re-brand her business to be more in line with how she sees herself, and the clients and brides that she wants to attract.
