Putting on that dress and adding a spritz of perfume, those cuff links, the tear-filled first look, the most special walk of your life, and the reciting of your "I do's". These are some of the most special moments of your life, and what better way to capture them and revisit them than in video form.
This is what W Beyer Creative does. They are a husband and wife team who are able to capture those moments and create one of the most special take-aways of your wedding day and special events. If you are living a moment you never want to forget, you definitely want to contact William and Allison and let them work their cinematic magic in creating the perfect video memories.

Full Name: Will Beyer and Allison Beyer
Business name and location: W Beyer Creative, based in Albany NY -- will travel! We charge a mileage fee for locations that are beyond a 50 mile radius from us.
Your Team: We're a team of 2 -- Will and Allison. Will is the lead cinematographer and editor. Allison is 2nd cinematographer and web/social media person.
How long have you been in business?: W Beyer Creative just launched this year, 2017! However, Will has been working full time in the wedding film industry for 6+ years as owner of his previous company, Nuvue Cinema.
What is your business philosophy or inspiration?: We use a documentary style approach to create our wedding films. It's important to us that we communicate with our couples in the months leading up to their wedding day so we can get an in depth understanding of the ins and outs of their day ahead of time-- that way, we're sure not to miss anything important when it finally arrives. We strive to capture the most authentic moments we can during the day because we believe it's the only way we can create truly powerful wedding videos for our couples. So, on the day-of, we do our best to stay in the background while we film so that we can capture the moments of the day as uninterrupted and unobtrusively as possible.
How did you get your start?: Will received a degree in documentary filmmaking, so a love for filmmaking is deeply ingrained in him. After graduating, he got his start working for another wedding video company. A year later, he launched his own videography business and saw much success in the years to follow. Allison actually has a professional background in counseling, but she was always really interested in learning to film and loves all things creative. She started shooting alongside Will a year and a half ago and became obsessed with it.
Then, the two of us decided to become partners on our own joint venture and the rest is history!
Describe your day to day tasks: We start each morning by opening up our email inbox so we can be ready to see and respond to our booked and potential couples ASAP throughout the day. Typically during the week we're editing wedding videos, talking to potential couples on the phone or in person, or filming video projects for businesses. And of course, on the weekend you'll find us filming weddings throughout the Northeast!
Describe your role on a clients wedding day: We usually arrive about an hour before the wedding dress goes on to capture getting ready footage. We come in, say hello and chat with you for a moment, and then get right to filming. We try to stay out of the way as best we can once we get started since we don't want to interrupt the flow of your day. We follow the couple and bridal party through all aspects of the day capturing everything we can and everything that they've told us is important to them. We work closely with the photographer and wedding coordinators throughout all day long to make sure we're constantly informed.
Describe your ideal client: Our ideal client is as passionate and excited about wedding video as we are!
What is your favorite part of the wedding planning process, or weddings themselves?: We love our first meeting or in person meeting where we get to know a little bit about our couples-- their backstories, their personalities, their engagements, and what's important to them when it comes to their wedding and marriage. When it comes to the day-of, there is a lot to love, but heartfelt handwritten vows and speeches are always a joy to witness (and great for the video!).
What can a couple expect when working with you?: Communication, laughter, and to receive a strong wedding video they'll want to watch for years to come.
What would your dream wedding be like?: We love all weddings, but barn venue weddings and weddings set in forest/nature settings are some of our favorites. We love couples that bring an outside-of-the-box approach to their day.
What do you love to do in your free time?: We try to get out hiking, camping, and kayaking as much as we can and we love anything that allows us to get some fresh air. We also enjoy drinking coffee and spending time with our two awesome cats, Mitch and Mabel.
What is one little known fact about yout?: Will and Allison grew up 5 miles apart from one another, but didn't meet until after college! We've now been married for 3 years. :)
List your favorite things!: Personal: Will loves volleyball and plays in leagues year-round, and Allison loves reading and running. We both love updating our old bungalow home that we bought last year!
Wedding: There's nothing better than seeing the love a couple has for each other in small moments throughout the day--fleeting moments of eye contact, private laughs, tears produced from handwritten notes to each other... the list goes on.
Fav guilty pleasure?: Ice cream, all day every day!
What experiences have shaped you and your business?: We learn something new from every wedding we shoot, so we're always discovering small ways we can improve our process and product.
What is the best compliment a client has given (or could give) to you?: It sounds kind of funny, but "we hardly knew you were there all day!" is a huge compliment to us when it comes to comments about us filming on a wedding day. That's because it means we didn't steal the spotlight, and our couple and their bridal party/guests were comfortable enough to be entirely themselves while we were filming-- all of which means we were able to capture some REALLY great authentic footage. Also, "the video made us cry" is always nice to hear :)
What are your recommendations to brides and grooms who are planning a wedding now?: Clients don't always put video at the top of their list of things they need on their wedding day, but there's really no better way to relive the emotion and love they felt on their day over and over again once it's all done. We've heard too many stories of couples regretting not hiring a videographer, and just as many stories of couples who weren't sure if they wanted video but found it was the best decision they could have made in the end. If couples have any questions about video, we hope they won't hesitate to reach out to us! We're happy to tall through anything and everything that may be on their mind!

Nicole and Bryan came to me from somewhere out in the social media wonderland, and I'm so darn happy they did.
Nicole has so much energy and excitement, and they were both SO in love. Nicole knew that she wanted an invitation suite that would accent her designer gown and gorgeous chandelier-filled reception hall when sending it to their over 300 person guest list! She knew she wanted pinks and maybe some green, and wasn't a fan of too much cursive.
The sun has set and the ocean breeze has chilled the guests, but the memories of Jen and Mike's wedding are still warm and fresh in our minds.
I had the amazing pleasure and honor of not only being a bridesmaid, but also stationer for Jen and Mike's New Jersey Beach Wedding. It's not often that I am so involved on both sides, but for Jen, I'd do anything.

Working in the wedding industry is a crazy, exciting, and very emotional thing. We get to be a part of the very best days in a couple's life, and it is an incredible experience to take part in. I've worked with and met many other members of the wedding industry, but the professionalism, enthusiasm, and passion that emits from Teresa from the very first email is what sets her apart from the rest.
Read more about Teresa, our project together, and why this was one of my favorite projects of 2016!
In an embellished ball gown, Joanne walks down the aisle to meet her soon-to-be-husband, in a church full of their friends and family. Their elegance and love is apparent as they say I do to each other, smiles as wide as their hearts.
We created a super elegant and jaw-dropping invitation suite with rich navy blues, blush and ivory accents, and rose gold foils as the stunning centerpiece...just click here to read more, and see the final suite!
You may remember me talking about a Valentine's styled shoot last year that had everything to do with Kate Spade. You can read about it here, and as you may notice, I was just a LITTLE bit excited about it.
I mean...did you SEE those inspiration boards?!
Well it's almost Valentines Day again this year, so it's fitting that I finally follow up with this today. In the post I mentioned that I'd show you the final products of this Kate Spade Valentines Shoot...
